Museo Benini Field Trip
Our Artist Way group is planning a group trip to Museo Benini on Saturday, December 6.
Cost: Free

11:00 am - (optional) Lunch at Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls
12:30 pm - Meet with artist, explore museum and grounds

1) Drive to the Museo Benini https://www.museobenini.com/ directly to tour the museum (it is quite large at 6,500 sq feet and it has an outdoor sculpture garden to tour if you like.)
Be ready to hear from Benini at 2. He is 85 years old, and he likes to share. Questions will be welcome! https://www.benini.us/beninis-biography
People can carpool or go on their own.
Arrive around 12:30 -1:00 to tour the museum before the artist visit if you want.
The museum is open 10-6 every Saturday and is always free.
2) Head to the Bluebonnet Café in Marble Falls by 11:00 to eat (at your own expense) before the museum visit. They don’t take reservations, and it’s quite busy on the weekends. Their website says there’s usually a line and they prefer knowing if the large group is coming for a meal.
Email Sue K Sue Kratochvil suekrat@icloud.com to let her know if you are going to want to 1) meet at ANC to carpool, 2) if you want to eat at Bluebonnet Café, or 3) if you want to just head to the museum.
We need a head count, so please let Sue know by Nov 30 so we can let Lorraine (Benini’s wife) know how to prepare for our group.

Dustin Hite is a spiritual director, neighbor at Community First! Village, husband to a Swiftie, and father of two. With a background in Ignatian spirituality, Dustin brings over a decade of experience leading contemplative retreats focused on presence and peace.
Catherine Johnston is a pastor at Austin New Church, a graduate student in counseling, writer, nature-lover, and mom of three. She’s passionate about creating sacred spaces of creativity, play, connection, and contemplative practice.
