Got a song to sing? A poem to read? A talent to share? Join us for Open Mic Night on Sunday, September 21 at 5PM! Whether you’re into music, spoken word, comedy, juggling, or something totally unexpected—we want to see it!

📋 Sign up for a 10-minute set and share your gifts with a supportive crowd.
⏰ The mic will be live for about 1.5–2 hours.
🍕 After the show, we’ll head to Grata’s for some well-earned pizza and hang time!

*Bring your supplies to start something new or continue a work in progress. 
*The room is available till 3pm, but feel free to come & go as needed.
*We will have conversation prompts each month based on one of the 12 chapters of Julia Cameron’s book. You can join in as your interest leads you.
*If you’re attending church in person, feel free to bring a sack lunch and hang out between worship and art, or grab something and come back at any time.

Kickball Tourney + Picnic

Kickball Tourney + Picnic

LOCATION CHANGE!! Now at South Austin Rec Center!!

Immediately after the service THIS SUNDAY, April 27th, we’ll head to the South Austin Rec Center for a picnic lunch and Kickball tournament. This is an ALL ages event for anyone who wants to play, no matter the skill level. Either pack a lunch or swing by a drive thru on the way to the park.

If you are interested in playing OR if you are willing to be a referee or scorekeeper, please fill out  this form. 

Where: South Austin Recreation Center at 1100 Cumberland rd. Austin, TX 78704. 

What to bring:

  • lunch

  • water/gatorade

  • sunscreen

  • lawn chairs 

  • umbrella for shade

If you plan to play, wear athletic clothing and shoes you can run in.

The high for Sunday’s temperature will be 90 degrees. Plan accordingly. The church will provide a couple of shade canopies but we won't all be able to fit under them. ;)

iMoms Luncheon

iMoms Luncheon

iMoms is a mentor group for women that our wonderful Miss Lupe started a few years ago. This is their annual luncheon, and she really needs our help to make this a super special event for these women.

The event is April 25th at the Doris Miller Auditorium. There will be speakers, gifts and lunch.  What she needs from us is about 10 volunteers to help with set up, serving and cleanup.  Simply sign up for shifts and reach out to Terra Brimberry if you have any questions at all - tdbrimberry@gmail.com.
